This one's a little different... it's called 'Intimate Thoughts of a Married Man' and it's pretty, er... brutally honest blog, which in part details the writer's emotions upon learning of his wife's affair. Funny thing is, the writer wanted her to have an affair, wanted to be her cuckold... problem is she went through with it, but hid it from him. So instead of the excitement of having his fantasy coming true, he got left out, lied to and deceived.
It's not melodramatic, but the pain is palpable in the texts... it's a fascinating insight, but you can't help feeling that you are reading something intensely private. But the writer feels the need to dump his thoughts somewhere and he doesn't have anyone he can talk to.
On the one hand you can see that many people might say he got what was coming to him, filling his wife's head with ideas, encouraging her to see other men. But on the the other it's hard not to feel desperately sorry for him (and her actually...), as he said... he feels totally ripped off, he got all the bad parts of an affair, and none of the 'good' parts.
At one point he displays his irritation that the other guy (G) is the one that she 'cheated' with, he wanted her to have sex with other men, he didn't want her to 'cheat' on him, to lie to him and deceive him. Even now he wants her to have sex with other men (with his knowledge and involvement) to devalue 'G' and make him less important.
